Amazing Grace

It is a long story.  It goes back eight centuries.  I have been looking for my roots. After 40 years of looking, I found the link from America, to Ireland, to Scotland.  The old hymn, Amazing Grace, which was heard in my house from the time I was born, reverberates in my mind.

I have not posted in a fair time to this blog.  Lots of reasons.  Mostly about just thinking about stuff.  The old shots and the new ones.

It was cold in Florida this morning, but that did not stop an Oyster Catcher from finding a morsel or two.

And it gave me another opportunity to try out the Canon EOS 7D and the Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L — a great combination!

This morning, as I always do, I opened up my e-mail to read whatever messages have come my way during the night.  I am fortunate to have corresponded with others who think about what they do, and once in a while a message pushes me into contemplation.
